Lorenzo de Medici (LDM) is one of the largest and leading international schools of Italy, with centers in Florence, Rome, Tuscania, and Venice. LDM-Tuscania is an ideal setting for students who want to study Italian language and culture, art, culinary arts, archaeology, music-cinema-theatre, history, and more. Because of LDM's involvement with internationally-known film and music festivals, as well as contemporary film productions, it is also an excellent location for students interested in cinema. Tuscania is a lovely Italian town, built on a hilltop in 7th Century BC. Only about 8000 people live there. In addition to being one of the most picturesque settings, it is home to two of the most beautiful churches in Italy (St. Peter’s and Santa Maria Maggiore). The countryside surrounding Tuscania is part of a nature reserve, with one of the richest collections of archaeological remains in the world.
