Description: Up to $5,000 available per student –the actual amount is determined by the preferences below and dependent on the number of recipients. This scholarship is only for students who are pursuing a degree through EIU.

Description: Scholarships and financial aid are available to students in both the year and semester programs through the Ginsburg-Ingerman Scholarship Program. Scholarship awards are based on economic need. Notification of awards will be made after acceptance to the program. A student applying for financial aid agrees to inform the OSP office in New York of any change in your financial situation or of any third party financial aid, including scholarships, loans, grants and fellowships. Any unreported aid may result in the partial or total revocation of AABGU scholarship awards. MASA Israel Journey has partnered with the State of Israel and the Jewish Agency to provide scholarship assistance to Jewish young adults who study in Israel on long-term educational programs. Jewish students in the Ginsburg-Ingerman Overseas Student Program are eligible for MASA funding. For more details visit: www.masaisrael.org

Description: Amount: $500. Scholarship Question: Why is it important for Americans to acquire a second language? What is the main benefit you expect to gain from the GSE language development program you will be participating in?

Description: Amount: $1,000. Scholarship Question: Research a major political, scientific, social or economic issue surfacing in Europe today. Explain and support your point of view on the topic.

Description: Amount: $1,000. Scholarship Question: Italy, England and Australia each have their own distinct historical and contemporary climates for artistic expression. Describe how the artistic heritage of your chosen study abroad destination will influence your personal growth as an artist.

Terms: Semester in Italy, England, Australia. 3.0 GPA req

Deadline: September 1, 2009 (Spring 2010 semester)


Description: This scholarship is meant to create and assist engaged study, internship, and volunteer participants abroad. Award Amount: $250-$500 Eligibility: Participants of an IEP study, internship, or volunteer program of at least 4 weeks in length. Application Requirements: Submit the IEP Student Correspondent Scholarship Application with the IEP application and deposit. IEP Student Correspondent Scholarship recipients will be expected to positively engage in their host culture and share their experiences by blogging about them.

Description: At least six scholarships are available for foreign students to enroll in the newly created Master’s of Software Engineering at University of Tartu, Estonia, This program will be jointly offered by Estonia’s two major universities: University of Tartu and Tallinn University of Technology. In addition to a strong foundation in software engineering methods, this 2-years program will offer two specializations: Enterprise Software and Embedded Real-Time Software. The program also includes professional internship opportunities. The language of instruction is English and the program is taught primarily by professors with international experience. In addition to tuition-free admission, the scholarships will offer a stipend for living expenses of EUR 3100 per year. Applications are now welcome and will continue to be welcome until May 2010 for the academic year starting in September 2010. For non-EU citizens the deadline is April 15th. University of Tartu is in the top 5% of the world's best universities according to The Times Higher Education. Software Engineering Master`s degree program has been selected by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research as one of the winners of the 2008 national competition of the most attractive international Master's programmes in Estonia.

Description: The international Master´s program in Cyber Security aims at providing students with the skills in all aspects of the security of information systems, offering the possibility to specialize in either the technological or organisational aspects, or a combination of both. The program will provide the specialized knowledge and professional skills needed in a career path leading to high-end technical roles (e.g. security analyst, architect or research engineer) or managerial roles (e.g. project/team leader or technology officer). SCHOLARSHIPS Students accepted to the programme can apply for special scholarship. A stipend of 2550 EUR per year will be granted to some students based on academic results. Scholarships are also available from TUT Development Fund, founded in 1991. The aim of this fund is to collect and share contributions between the University students and Estonian entrepreneurs. Development Fund keeps a close contact with TUT alumni and maintains collaboration with numberous key figures in the Estonian business world.

Description: This scholarship is available some years. It can be a substantial award, typically around $5,000. Only students who have been accepted to our Japan and Its Buddhist Traditions program are eligible. Contact AEA to determine if this scholarship is available.
